Windows Acting Improperly

Post by Rihard » Fri Oct 28, 2005 10:30 pm

I've got a somewhat annoying problem. When I've got two EQ sessions running and the two windows overlap, clicking on the foreground window often moves clickable objects in the background window. An example of this is resizing a chat window in the front window will pick up and drag the spell gem bar in the back window. Funny enough, moving the spell gem bar back to where it belongs often resizes that chat window again =p

This behavior doesn't occur in normal EQ, only with WinEQ. I'm not sure if it's something wrong on my end or not, but it's easy for me to reproduce. Load WinEQ, get to the EULA screen, and then click on another window (web browser, text editor, whatever) but don't have it cover the Decline button. Hover the mouse over the Decline button while that EQ session is still in the background, and it will highlight the Decline button as if the window were in the foreground.

Here's my SysInfo.txt information.

I'm guessing this problem is something on my end as no one in my guild is experiencing the same thing. For a temporary fix I used the "Lock" options on all the windows so they wouldn't get dragged around constantly. With that done I'm not having any other issues. I can live with unlocking/relocking when I need to move stuff :)

Also finally got around to upgrading to Pro, forgot how nice those extra EQPlaynice features were back when it was free =x
