Me, and some other people I've spoken to, have had increased zone times since the 'free mouse on zone' patch went in. When only zoning one window it's not that bad, but as soon as you increase to 2 windows or more it's very noticeable.
I believe it has something to do with loss of priority when focus is dropped from the window during loading. Before it always loaded the window that was active faster -- but now all windows are inactive and so they all zone very slow.
