I have tried to use WinEQ2 on 2 different machine. Each machine Reboots at some point when I have 2 or more profiles running. I only play EQ1.
It seems to happen more often when 1 or more are zoning at the same time. But its not limited to this as I crash when Im just running the chars to places. Though I dont ever recall it crashing unless at least 2 of the profiles are active (doing something, moving, casting spells or so such). Just sitting and doing nothing wont cause it.
I have also noticed that running MQ seems to crash less.

I can guarantee that your issue is the infamous NVIDIA+multiboxing+Vertex shaders off bug, as described here last year: http://www.lavishsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=862
Enable vertex shaders in all eqclient.ini files and you're set. I'm aware some people turn them off to reduce lag in OOW, but with an NVIDIA card it's a double edged sword on most systems. It's an EQ bug causing the issue, and theyre not likely to ever correct the problem -- they do not officially support playing multiple characters on a single computer, and this is only an issue when doing exactly that
