mouse control outside of EQ

I've read all the announcements, i successfully downloaded the patch, and i see the mouse and everything works great...BUT i cant seem to gain system control over the mouse with scroll lock, i.e. i cant effect anything outside eq related operations with the mouse.

Scroll lock no longer does anything because EQ isnt supposed to be retaining full control of the mouse anymore. If you are experiencing this problem, it is because the game itself is in full screen mode -- am aware of this issue and will be working to fix it as soon as possible. In the meantime, switch the game itself to windowed mode by hitting alt+enter or via the in-game options window.
