Hi Lax, I am having the same problem that was stated in other threads. While I don't think it has to do with my system, I am including my SysInfo.txt below this message just in case.
Essentially, the last patch changed the way the Mouse works with EQ - it allows the mouse to act as a normal windows mouse when EQ is in Windowed mode. When you move the mouse too high, it leaves the Windows screen and overlaps the title bar, for example. However, with WinEQ, I think the mouse is still trying to be forced to remain in the window. I think the problem lies in that area. But in the end - my mouse is invisible when I use WinEQ. It will still interface with Everquest, and I get Mouse Over highlights, but I can not see the location of the mouse.
Additionally, when I run WinEQ 2.0, it has an error with the patch. It says, "Could not successfully retrieve new file WinEQ2-EQ.dll. Aborting Patch. You may continue to use the software."
Hopefully this isn't too much of a bother, and thanks for all the hard work with the software. WinEQ rocks.
