Hey all, well, I just can't seem to get EQ running without it having horrible video lag. So, I've decided to uninstall WinEQ. However, I can't figure out how to -- I've tried removing it via going into my program files, and that doesn't work, and further, it's not available as an option for the add and remove programs on the control panel. Any info on how successfully remove it will be highly appreciative. Thanks! Oh, and yeah, I goofed putting in my system info before, so here it is now.

Hi, thanks for replying so promptly. I did go into the program files and click on the "Uninstall" Icon, but, it didn't uninstall everything for some reason, so, there is still a folder for WinEQ, and I cannot start regular EQ. I tried deleting the folder, but it won't allow me, informing me that it is copyrighted. So, now I'm at a lose as to how to entirely remove the program from my computer. My husband is using WinEQ, and it works great for him, but, unfortuntely, not for me ... so, question is, how do I make regular EQ work again? It keeps giving me an error message that eqgame.ex is experiencing a problem. Ok, any advice would be great! Thanks.
This sounds like you are a user on the system with non administrative rights. Do you have to log in to the computer to use it?twilitemoon wrote:Hi, thanks for replying so promptly. WinEQ doesn't affect EQ unless you run it through WinEQ... so... I really dont know how to make eqgame.exe work again because that's something specifically wrong with your computer, and it has nothing to do with our software.
