eqgame.exe error when running EQ 1

Ok, I am sure this is a Spyware or Virus problem, but incase it is not...

I have recently downloaded Win EQ 1, the first time I used it; it worked great. I had two chars up and running around. After I had logged for a few hours I tried to run it again, it said: "eqgame.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

I downloaded Win EQ 2 and it has not worked one time, it is having the same error, any ideas? I am trying to run EQ 1.

As I stated before, it is probably spyware or a virus as I have read other posts, so if the only answer anyone can think of is this, then I will fix the problems as soon as I get a chance.

See if there's a file in your WinEQ 2 folder called "SysInfo.txt". If there is, open it, and paste its contents here for me.

If there's not, then WinEQ 2 cant even load and it's most likely due to software interference, which could be virus or spyware, or could simply be that you need to apply Wnidows Updates.
