1.2) How can I turn on Picture-in-Picture?
Picture-in-Picture (PIP) must be enabled in two separate places -- the tray menu, and for each profile (or individual window). This is so PIP can be turned off entirely by changing a single setting, and so PIP can be disabled for specific profiles or windows. If you would like to enable PIP for all windows, first enable the global setting found in the tray menu's Options submenu. Then, for each profile you use, turn on "Allow Picture-in-Picture". If the change does not take effect immediately, simply restart each session and PIP will be used.
Basically, there's two separate settings for Picture-in-Picture, and both of them need to be on. 1) In the main program, under Options, check "Picture-in-Picture" there (but not the Lock option). 2) In each profile, Picture-in-Picture must be enabled. Go into WinEQ 2.0 Preferences, and under the game you're playing (EverQuest for example), select Profiles, and then select the profile you normally play with (likely the top one, WinEQ 2.0 Default Profile). Toward the bottom of the profile settings is a setting called "Picture-in-Picture", right below "Preferred Tile". Turn that on and click Apply or OK.

Then for PIP to work, just launch at least two sessions, and switch between them however you like. The session you most recently switch away from will become the picture window. Be aware that if you use ALT+TAB rather than the other provided methods, you will need to SHIFT+ALT+TAB to get to the picture window. This cannot be avoided and is because the window is in front of the other -- alt+tab goes to the next window downward in windows.
