Crash from character Select - Everquest 1 - 9/5.

After todays patch 9/5 I get to the EQ1 character select screen with no problems. After selecting "Enter World," the blue bar shows that something is loading and about 10 seconds later a crash window pops up. Everquest has detected a crash blah blah blah - do you want to send system info to EQ?

If I try to log on again after the crash I get the the server select screen and it won't let me go to character select as I have a character in world.

I completed the patch using the new launch pad. Logged into the game completely without the use of WinEQ 2. I then camped - logged out - and used WinEQ2. I have the Patch option turned off in my profile options. % attempts to log in and the same results eah time.
