7-12 patch crashing on start on live

after downloading new exe for eq in patch this morning , wineq crashes trying to load up now . can still run eq without wineq , tested that. But wineq is creating crash error .

Guess to be more specific , its everquest 1 . And get the error when trying to launch a profile through wineq2. the standard windows crash box pops up .

I'm trying to duplicate your crash but it's not happening with Lite or Pro. Will have to see if anyone else reports a crash, but if it was widespread there would already be others posting.

Past that, post your sysinfo.txt and maybe I'll see something, and you should probably scan for viruses and spyware.

I've had this as well - what happens to me is I get the eqgame.exe error and the dialog box comes up (OK button to close that instance of EQ1), however, I can just move the dialog box out of the way and continue on logging in, which works fine. If I click OK, though, it closes the EQ1 instance.

I get this every 4th time or so - I just restart and it works fine. /shrug

General Windows Wierdness, what can you do. :)
