Everquest not functioning after 6/9/07 patch

After the June 9th patch, WinEQ2.0 is no longer working for EQ. My wife, who logged in earlier than I did and started Wineq 2.0 before the patch, is still playing along just fine.

The error message I recieve is eqgame.exe has experienced an error and is now closing.

I just tried to log on to eq2win and it didn't work. Looked at the technical info and it looks like I'm having the same problem.

A friend and I are also unable to load Everquest since the latest patch :cry:

Please post your sysinfo.txt if you are going to report the "same problem", or I cannot possibly make the same determination.

The original poster has an abnormal diagnostic, reporting that it is Windows 2000 with Windows XP service packs.

Same problem when trying to use WinEQ2 for Everquest (1 not 2).

Been plaing and felt like restarting comp. then patch for 2.15 hit and WinEQ2 not working anymore :(.

I've confirmed this crash for Lite users, it does not affect Pro users. This should be fixed momentarily.

This problem is now solved and requires no additional action on your end. Just launch EQ, and it should work.

A friend of mine is having the problem on 2 of her comps since the "fix" she just deleted wineq and redownloaded it and is still getting error at the EULA screen saying everquest.exe is out of date please try again, she ran a complete file check from the patcher and is still getting the error. I will post the system information later.
