Probably by fixing your UI. WinEQ 2 has no effect on it...

If you can find the sysinfo.txt file in your WinEQ 2 folder and paste the contents, I may be able to help diagnose that particular issue. It's been so long since anyone had an issue like this one that I don't even recall what could cause it.

Either way, the first things to do are scan for viruses and spyware, and ONLY use the popular, highly recommended solutions -- some programs that say they catch spyware actually install spyware or viruses ("Spycatcher" for example installs a trojan on your system, which happens to break our software). I recommend AVG Free edition (which is free) from http://free.grisoft.com for virus scanning, and Windows Defender from MS for spyware, also free: http://www.microsoft.com/athome/securit ... fault.mspx

Then shut down any extra running programs, just to see if they interfere. If you find something incompatible that shouldnt be, let me know so I can work on the problem.

Also make sure you're running the latest drivers for your system -- video at the very least.
