Crashes After starting Everquest from the WinEQ 2.0 Default

Post by tomdanielson » Thu Apr 20, 2006 6:05 am

Hi,
I am having a problem playing Everquest using WinEq 2.13 lite.
I recently bought a new machine and downloaded WinEQ 2.0 to enable me to play two accounts on one machine. I have a dual core system and was informed that Win EQ 2.0 automatically sets affinity.
The issue I am having is when I attempt to start Everquest from the WinEQ 2.0 Default profile from the system tray, I get a crash error and Everquest does not start. I have never been able to get Everquest to start running while starting it thru WinEQ 2.0

If you can give me any advice would apreciate. Thanks for your time

Heres my system info:

Unfortunately I dont see anything in your sysinfo that is a problem, except for the lack of D3D9.dll. This seems to indicate that you may have a stray D3D9.dll in your EQ folder -- if there is, delete it -- or that you may need to reinstall DirectX 9. Otherwise, everything looks pretty normal.
