DAoC crashing at load up

when i start up daoc using the default profile, it goes to a black box then closes, anyone know how to fix this?

The only thing out of the ordinary is low system RAM.

Other than that, there is a known issue with WinEQ 2 for DAOC that stops the game from launching intermittently. Most of the time it works, but sometimes it will close itself.

I have a crash report system in development, currently testing with Inner Space. If it is a crash, this system will help us find the problem. It will be implemented in WinEQ 2 in the next week or two.
