EQ Not appearing

Post by helmm » Wed Oct 27, 2004 7:00 pm

Having the same problem on both of my machines. Start the profile I want but eq never shows up. CPU usage cranks up to 100% and says eqgame is using 99% of that. SysInfo.Txt

Going to be hard to find this one I think. Can you set it to patch and see if it makes a difference? I want to know if it also happens to the patcher, or if it runs the patcher find and then screws up on eqgame.exe

Still happening in RC3. WinEQ 1.38 works great on both boxes.

Can you make sure you dont have any spyware, viruses, etc that could be interfering? I might have to add in an option to log all the running modules to file

EQ not starting

Post by Tonto » Sat Oct 30, 2004 7:59 pm

I would post what it said but Im not sure where to find it. I start Wineq, make sure every thing in the options is set up and pointing to my EQ directory with a copy of eqclient.in called eqclient2.ini. Upon selcting my eq profile to start windows comes back with.

eqgame.exe has encountered a problem ect. and need to close.

error report says.

Error signature

Appname: eqgame.exe AppVer:0.0.0.0 ModName: wineq2.dll

ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00009de8

Everquest never starts. Wineq 1.38 works great. I have 3 computers and all of them do the same thing. No virus, trogens or other programs are running in the back ground . What have I over looked and not done ?
