WinEQ 2.0 - Beta Release 5

Post by Lax » Sun Oct 24, 2004 4:18 pm

Usage of B4 has been disabled. You can update via this link or by restarting the WinEQ 2.0 tray program and letting it patch itself.
http://www.lavishsoft.com/beta/Lavish.WinEQ.2.00B5.exe

Code: Select all

2.0 B5
- Fixed global activation hotkeys
- Fixed problem with previous/next session keys
- Memory indicator should correctly display memory above 2GB
- EQPlayNice integration is now built into WinEQ 2.0. There is not currently an option to disable
it entirely. With EQPlayNice, WinEQ can now keep the mouse cursor position when releasing or
recapturing the mouse, in sync with the game. Auto-releasing the mouse on window edges would
unfortunately take too much processing time and cause unwanted lag, so that is not implemented.
- Added a few custom resolutions: 125%, 150%, 175%, 200% and 250% of the windows display mode, for
people who want to scale the window down (not to mention use up a lot more video RAM and produce
  more lag!).
- Added option to prevent the game from changing the gamma, since doing so also changes the gamma of
  every other window
- Added process termination on Alt+F4
- Added option to store current window settings to a preset
- Fixed the black screen auto-fixing
As of WinEQ 2.0 Beta Release 5, WinEQ 2.0 should now be sufficient to completely replace WinEQ 1.38 -- aside from not having command line parameters set up to the executable so you can make shortcuts to automatically start profiles. PLEASE let us know of any other shortcomings or reasons why you would still use 1.38 over 2.0.
