Helllo,
I updated my laptop to windows 10.
Since then Wineq2 cannot recognize the correct screen resolution when entering the everquest.
I am using an asus G75V.
can you help?
Have you any suggestion as for solving this problem?
what information do you need to investigate the problem?
Cheers,
Lanceval

Depends on what you mean by the wrong resolution. The most likely culprit will be Display Scaling, which Windows 10 sometimes implements silently for you, and sometimes even lies about it, by showing you have the screen set to display native (100%) but it is actually something else. This is easy to test by setting the slider to something else, Applying it and then back again to 100%.

Is it possible to to do something about it?
when running eq through the normal launcher it give the correct resolution.
There might be something to set up at the application level to ignore this 125 %.
But again thanks a lot for pointing the cause of the problem.

I had the same issue with scaling (using 4k screen). I was not aware that it worked with normal EQ client?
It would be nice to be able to use scaling on my large screen for normal usage.
