configuring/launching WinEQ without taskbar?

Hi all,

So I am trying to get WinEQ to work with Wine, my problem is that I can launch WinEQ, but Wine doesn't display the taskbar, so I can't figure out how to point it to my eqgame.exe, or launch it. There must be some way to manually do this, any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know what flavor of linux you're running but you may just need to add a notification area to your panel. Or at least that's what these people are saying:
