random crashes running WinEQ

Some zones will not load in WinEQ 2.0, must issue a fix, known zones that i know of is Dragonscale Hills, and Nektulos Forest, fix please! i have to completely exit out of wineq to get out of these zones

I'm not really sure what running WinEQ 2 would have to do with any particular zones.

The only thing that comes to mind is if you have multiple EQ folders and one of them (the one you use with WinEQ 2) happens to be busted, or if you're using a custom eqclient.ini file with WinEQ 2 that for some reason doesn't work for you with those zones.

You say it "crashes", does it give you any information about said crash?

it just gives the default EQ client Crash when it goes to load the zone. winEQ doesnt crash it self, but if i completely exit out of WinEQ and reload using EQ patcher it will load that zone fine. I only have one EQ folder and its patched and working fine, so i think it might be something to do with EQPlaynice or something of that matter. My friend was replicating the instance running winEQ as well

I experienced the same thing today. Here's ny dbg.txt file from the Everquest logs. I have tried replacing the mentioned file (dragonscale.eqg) as well as downloading Everquest from scratch. None of that solved the problem.

Turning off EQPlayNice feature fixed the problem for me

Have the same issue with crashing in Dragonscale and Nek forest. also in Hills of Shade.. I use 2 comps and it happens on both.
