Issue: Game crashes as soon as the toon enters the world

Error Message:

The exception unknown software exception (0cx000000d) occurred in the application at location (0x02e1e400)
General Info: I originally thought it might have been an issue with the claims window so I has some one else log me in and claim every thing. I change my UI to default. I tried deleting the UI ini, Character INI, eqclient ini, reinstalling wineq2.

Neat, I haven't seen someone report a WinEQ 2 crash from the EQ voice service . . . until now!
Module 0: c:\program files\everquest\EQVoiceService.exe
Is there an option to disable the EQ built-in voice chat for now? I can fix this but am currently out of town

I am unable to disable to voice service from loading. I have disabled it on all toons but the exe is still loading. Possible ETA on this fix mate? I haven't been able to use wineq in over a week :(

As a temporary workaround, you can probably just rename EQVoiceService.exe to something else and then it can't be launched to crash.

Or, alternatively, you can try out ISBoxer which replaces WinEQ with flying colors and is covered by your existing subscription.

I'm having an issue with ISboxer, I can't get it to take up my full screen in windowed mode like wineq does. I tried to make all 4 instances the same size as my screen in my window lay out, but that causes serious overlapping issues making it impossible to use your mouse to click any thing with out switching to another screen.
