Crash when loading with patcher OFF

Post by Valao » Wed Jan 13, 2010 1:43 am

EQ instances will load fine when I have the patcher ON option. When I turn the patcher option off, I get an application error every time, every profile and it happens instantly.

My sysinfo.txt is as follows:

Thanks in advance for your help. I've updated all Windows updates. My anti-virus is Trend Micro Antivirus. I think everything is up to date.

***Solved*** Deleted my old WinEQ2 download and re-downloaded. That seemed to do the trick.

***UNSolved*** I changed all my video settings to include every luclin model and more resource intensive selections from the next screen (mip mapping, dynamic lighting, etc.) & I deleted WinEQ2 to re-download.

Everything was running fine but as I added more sessions I decided to turn down all my graphics to zero again. Whammo. "Unknown software error" occurs right as the session window pops up.

I've tried with EQPlaynice on and off. I'm at a loss.

Thanks
