Antialiasing with WinEQ

Post by cptvanier » Thu Aug 13, 2009 9:29 am

When I run EQ with WinEQ I seem to have no AA.

Is there any way to get it to work?

Thanks for any help

Errr... WinEQ shouldn't affect that.

If the game thinks it is in full screen mode, try switching it to windowed mode. It should just be a matter of setting the relevant option in EQ though. If you're using a custom eqclient.ini file, it might help to check it to make sure the proper option is selected.

Beyond that, you might consider trying ISBoxer. This issue would disappear if it is WinEQ-related

I did some research on the EQ forums and it seems that AA is not really supported by EQ1.

This never used to bother me because I ran at a high resolution. But now that I'm only using 1/4 of my screen for each client its quite noticeable. And forcing the AA on for EverQuest.exe in my video settings seems to do nothing. If anyone has a suggestion let me know.

Thanks for your help.
