Window restore

Is there a way to keep WinEQ2 windows from maximizing automatically?

I play with two clients each in full screen emulation and use Windows XP SP3 for my OS. The windows shrink without trouble but if I restore any window on my desktop both WinEQ 2 windows also restore automatically.

Is there a setting or configuration I'm missing that can prevent this from happening?

Er... No there isn't a setting you're missing, actually this is the first time anyone has mentioned it. What method are you using to minimize the windows?

Normally I shrink the WinEQ2 with the "Show Desktop" icon in the quick launch bar or through the Windows Key shortcut (Alt-d). This shrinks all open windows so I can reach my desktop under the WinEQ2 windows, but if I restore one of the shrunken windows or open a new window, the WinEQ2 windows also pop open again.

CORRECTION: show desktop shortcut is (Windows Key + D)
