Horrible FPS if running 2 copies of EQ1 via WinEQ

Post by Jedis » Fri Oct 31, 2008 10:11 pm

I get terrible FPS if I run 2 copies of EQ via WinEQ. Around 5-10 FPS in each window. However, if I run a copy of EQ first before loading up WinEQ, and then launch WinEQ and run the second copy via WinEQ, FPS is fine in both sessions.

Sounds strange to me. Are you using multiple EQ folders? multiple eqclient.ini files? Dragging the windows to other monitors?

Nope, running both out of C:\EverQuest -- single monitor. Should be same eqclient, I didn't tell it to do anything different.
