Sticky Keys

Post by feinam1 » Wed May 14, 2008 6:19 pm

Same problem as blackhart a few months back, I saw no response. I'm using Vista and a quad core system. When I switch windows with a click or a keyboard command (CTRL ALT 2) it'll stick the keys currently down. This doesn't reset when I go back into the window I left (if shift is stuck, hitting enter will attempt to go fullscreen cause it's shift-enter). The only workaround I've found is to use my macro program to forcefully hit ctrl alt shift when it enters a window to clear the stickies, but that will just NOT do.

Any idea how to fix this issue?

PS... setting the window switch key to be a non shifted one (no alt, no ctrl, no shift) mostly fixes the issue. It's a bit of a pain, but you can set F1 F2 F3 etc as your switch keys and remap in EQ2 for Shift-F1 etc to be for targeting. I'd still like to fix the issue, but I've managed to work around it for now.
