WinEQ2 blocking IE in Vista

Post by blakhart66 » Sat Feb 23, 2008 1:15 pm

Ran into a new issue, likely a configuration issue that I couldnt find in documentation....

Running Vista, just installed the other day, I've gotten WinEQ to work fine now - however, when WinEQ is running, whether or not a game is running through it, Internet Explorer is broken - it autocrashes when I try to open explorer, but if I close out WinEQ, Explorer will run fine once again... any suggestions?

Additional info - if I have Internet Explorer already running when WinEQ starts up, it will keep running, but if I close it out, I can't re-start IE

I can't imagine why it's crashing for you exactly, but if you're not playing EverQuest 1, you can disable EQPlayNice in the WinEQ 2 Preferences under EverQuest,General and it will stop.
