EQ1 Second and Third Instance Loading Problems

Hi Folks,

The problem I have is that my first instance of EQ1 loads just fine. Then when I load the second instance it downloads two files including eqmain.dll and testeqgame.exe and then the second window crashes. So I relaunch the same second instance, it downloads the same two files again and the game starts just fine. Then I do a third instance and the same pattern repeats...downloads two files, crash, start instance again, download two files, loads fine.

If I turn the launchpad/patcher off for the second and third instances, the game won't load at all for those instances. I'm thinking there is some combination of things I need to do, like tell SOE/Launchpad that I don't want to patch but I'm really confused.

I can still play and this is really just a nuisance tbh.

Thank you for any advice about this problem or anyway to tweak my performance based on the profile appended.
