I've tried 4 different machine's, totally reinstalled EQ, totally reinstalled WinEq2.0, bought a new router, even tried a DSL ISP instead of comcast and still I'm having this problem. So I think its safe to say I'm not the only one. Anyways I crash, while playing multiple windows in Everquest, after click respawn on a Hover rez. It's not instant, but after I respawn from a Hover rez I will crash while zoning within 3 or 4 zones its garenteed. I've done some trouble shooting myself to kind of narrow it down to this, I can't fix it I've individually tested every setting in the game and in winEQ to attempt a fix over the last 3 months and it still continues to crash.
So my question is, has anyone found a work around for this? I cannot be the only one having this problem.
To sum it up, you die, you respawn from the hover rez ... you will crash while zoning within 1 to 4. I'm ready to quit, I want to play eq but losing half an hour everytime I die to linkdeath's is infuriatiing.
I've tried it on an intel core 2 duo, intel duel core, intel p4, AMD FX 54 ( my main machine ), AMD Athlon .. they all crash .. all with 2 gb of mem. All using nvidia cards but everyone has a different generation and up-to-date drivers.
thanks for your input-
Crashing, anymachine, any router, any isp while 3 boxing

Well, it turns out I overlooked something. Last night I realized my UI had a bag that was still linked after death. IE I could see items in a bag that was no longer on my persona and was on my corpse. So I thought that could have somehthing to do with it, updated my UI and sure enough ... havn't crashed after about 30 zones, after a hover rez so I believe that was the issue. It never occured to me a UI could cause a random issue like that, but now I know. My ui is the very first thing I setup everytime I did a fresh install on eq, figures ....
