recent EQ memory issue

Post by sn0wblind » Mon Nov 12, 2007 10:29 pm

Hello,

I recently got the software - around four days ago. It worked beautifully running two windows on my screen for hours on end. Starting today I have had memory issues out of the blue after fresh restarts. I get the 'low system memory' message upon loading up the first account - at the character select screen. Then when trying to load a second account, it freezes my computer when loading to character select screen.

Things I have tried:
Updating to recent drivers
Observing cpu/hd temps
Using lowest possible settings in EQ

Any ideas?

Below is my sysinfo file

you should be getting the low memory warning with only 1gig of ram and running one copy. By the time windows loads itself, and the average use of EQ about 700megs is in your past your physical memory. Ctrl alt delete and check the processes and how much they are using add them up you will see.
