Wineq2 & WoW + Vista

Post by Kaycee » Thu Feb 01, 2007 6:31 pm

hehe I know your probably dreading this topic already :0. The only issue I have is with regards to the FPS and Memory usage being displayed in the top left corner when in game. I have those options enabled and can see them in XP no problem but under vista they just arent there for some reason. Other than that game plays fine so far with no graphics anomolies I'm just used to seeing the FPS numbers and thought I'd ask to see if anyone had any recomendations.

Thanks

Odd. I'll have to look at that when I get home on monday. The only thing that comes to mind if this isnt an issue for everyone else with Vista would be the d3d9 installation, since d3dx9 is used to show the text.

Okies I did do the supplimental install that was prompted from Wineq on the direct x9 stuffs I forgot to mention that in my first post. Other than that all seems to be working great under vista so far ;). So no rush didnt know if it was just my system being picky or what but I have both the Nvidia 6150 in my laptop and ATI Radeon X1600 in the desktop PC and both wont display just for added info :)

Hope your weekend goes well for ya :0

It seems odd that direct3d9 is in the process list but wineq is not able to get the direct3d9 details. It may help you to reinstall d3d9.
