Hey guys, I've just bought this program today after never really successfully getting the trial version working.
Anyway, here is my problem...
When I load EQ, whether normally via the patcher or in WinEQ, when I click on minimize or on another program, i.e. change gaming sessions, my PC freezes for like 10-20 seconds, as if I was changing resolution in game which is really starting to bug me. My PC is 3500+ AMD, 2 x 7800 GT nvidia cards and 2 gig of ram, so I don't think that is the problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
/cheer

Right click on the game window title bar and select "Get System Info". This will open some info in notepad. Paste the whole thing here, or to me in email if you prefer, just don't leave bits out

Interesting that it would freeze for that amount of time. You might want to double check that you have all the latest windows service packs, windows updates, drivers (video, sound, motherboard chipsets, everything) and that no other programs are interfering -- shut down all other programs to see if maybe something is causing a problem. You can also run virus (free and good:
http://free.grisoft.com ) and spyware scans (free and good:
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/securit ... fault.mspx ) to make sure nothing is messing with your system that shouldn't be.

Yeah, that looks normal. Any response to the rest of my post? It actually sounds like you're running out of RAM (and/or have a HDD driver problem -- e.g. SATA, IDE, RAID drivers), but your sysinfo is only showing 500MB used, so I assume you're only running 1 session. Do you get this problem running only 1 session?

I have automatic updates on so I presume so. Bit of a noob at computers.

. Anyone have a link to a good site that searches for driver updates? Googled one but I'm not paying $30 fee just to search for drivers. I'm pretty sure my G Card drivers are out of date, will go update them now.
Thanks for the help guys.
