Tiling + eq2
i've seen a few posts here about tiling not working correctly, followed by posts about this being fixed..i bought the subscription for this sole purpose with eq2, but i'm finding that when i use the feature, everything in the window is messed up. i have no hotbars, and the only place that anything shows up is in the upper lefthand corner. any fixes or feedback on how to get around this?
This is actually an EQ2 bug that I reported within a week of its release, that has simply gone ignored by SOE. Put the game in windowed mode and shrink it smaller than 800x600, and all of a sudden you get this nice black area at the bottom and to the right, and the EQ2 UI forgets how to scale. The issue here isn't really about tiling as a whole, which was fixed... rather, it is about EQ2 and the way it behaves. I can "sort of" fix the problem, and was in the middle of doing so some time ago, but as I've received little or no feedback with WinEQ 2 as far as EQ2 goes (the vast majority of WinEQ 2 users are playing EQ1), it has simply slipped.
I can work on fixing this issue, but it will probably be several days before I am able to fix it. If you solely wanted Tiling, for EQ2, and are using a Windows resolution smaller than 1600x1200, then surely the software is not performing how you want it to, and I can offer you a refund until it works correctly, or perhaps extend your subscription by the amount of time it takes to solve the problem.
