I need some help after using the built in EQ option editor.
On a few of my accounts I went into the option editor to turn off alot of things tring to save memory and cut down on lag issues. When it comes to the windows size there is no option for 1680 x 1050 (what I play at and have my UI setup for) so I went with 1024 x 768 I think was the largest size, I then reset it in game for 1680 x 1050.
Anyways it seems the in game screen size is not being saved and now when ever I start EQ its allways 1024 x 768 and I have to always reset all my accounts back to 1680 x 1050 everytime I start EQ.
Is there anyway to fix this problem and why isn't the in game screen size being saved?
i'm sure this is something in one of the .INI files but I have no clue where to look for it.

There's probably a bug, which I haven't had time to test yet and nobody has told me whether my hypothesis is true or not, but there's probably a bug where the resolution isn't properly carried along when you start in Full Screen mode in EQ itself (or it could be Windowed Mode). Try toggling that in-game and restarting EQ, and see if that helps
I "think" I see where this is coming from...
I had a similar problem when I was playing around with scaling and configuring for multiple monitors...
Now, let me add my assumptions here...
First, you are attempting to use the WinEQ configuration to set your preferences...
Second, you have not created any additional instances of the eqclient.ini file for any additional instances of WinEQ....
Now, with that out of the way...
When I encountered this, I was trying to size multiple instances for one large screen. I would attempt to resize the individual instance using the EQ options, but all it would do was mess up the display in the instance and cause me to have to log out and relog in.
After relogging in, none of the changes were applied...
Enter the idea of multiple .ini files...
What I did, was to remake the .ini files for each toon to be played on the one monitor. I named it something like eqclient_tank.ini and pathed the appopriate account instance to it. In this new .ini file, I was able to specify the new resolution that I wanted, and when I logged in, the settings were applied.
After that, I continued to remake the .ini files for each instance I wanted to run so that the app was no longer looking for the default file in the eq directory. It now had its own to edit for each instance at that time.
After that, I have no issues with applying any changes made, and WinEQ had no issues with applying settings for each instance...
Hope my ramblings make sense... I tried to keep my engineer side out
