WOW + WinEQ2
Hello,
I've started trying wow with wineq2, since i've used it in the past with eq, but i'm running into a weird problem. No matter what setting I choose, my FPS drops to 3 frames on both foreground and background. This is on a new XP machine with a fresh install off lavish website. Any idea's how I can stop it doing that?

Here yah go very buggy...as I like to play at full screen emulated...which I cant get the title bar for.....but this is with normal.....under normal it becomes a slideshow. Under full screen emulated not much different and getting most of the game menu bars etc become all messed up.Lax wrote:Getting the exact same response....Post sysinfo.txt for me (you can get it by right clicking on the game window's title bar, and selecting Get System Info)
Under EQ1 I'm getting CTD when going back to character select when 2-3 boxing.

Lax thank you for the help. This is fixed the lag and the login graphic mess. Now the only thing that Im having problems with is when I try to alt tab to another window, it wont open (ie browser etc...)...I see the windows taskbar and all the windows that are open in it, but when I go to those windows it doesnt open up...any ideas?Lax wrote:Ok, you need to enter WoW all the way, go into its video settings, and check the Windowed Mode box. Hit okay after that, and it should work properly.
It sounds like the WoW window is "always on top". You may simply need to restart WoW after making that change, or you can try right clicking on the window title bar (in "normal") and unchecking Always on Top. If it's not checked, you can check it first and then uncheck it, and after that, you should have no problem
