Not working with 3 toons

Post by SamDaMan » Fri Oct 14, 2005 9:48 am

Although I am stable on my other computers with 3 toons this computer is just not working. Even on the accept / decline log in screen when the 3rd gets loaded cpu time goes up to 100percent and mouse stops moving and in taskmanager all 3 toons go between "responding" and "not responding".... I know I have a lot of features on but I have 2 GiG of Ram.

I run all windows in full screen mode, and dont have any other apps running.

Only odd thing I see is that two mouse drivers are loaded...

Also this is occuring at the loadin screen so I doubt that the settings with all the video stuff on does much at this point.

I dont see anything particularly evil either. Other than running Win2k I mean :)

I made a small change to WinEQ2.exe just now to fix a potential problem relating to CPU affinity on single-processor systems (no patch notes, just the updated EXE). See if that makes any difference for you. If not, then I'm not sure what else I can change since I assume this is something that just came up in the last day or so for you, and this is about the only thing that changed ;)

Anyway, patch WinEQ and let me know if it improves, and if it doesn't I'll go through more of the code.
