Side by side in EQ

Post by Sippin » Sat Jul 23, 2005 7:41 am

Just downloaded the full-featured WinEQ 2.0. I want to try to set up "side by side" windows for 2 accounts. Would appreciate some general guidance on this, as the HELP just isn't clear on this option, other than mentioning it can be done using the full-featured software. The best I've been able to get is a tiled effect but each window occupies only 1/4 of the screen, which is not what I want.

Any help would be appreciated!

Well, it is slightly more clear than you say it is :)
17 custom resolutions added to the in-game resolution list, including half screen height and half screen width (play two side by side, or one on top of the other!) ** NOTE: Your desktop resolution must be at least 1280x1024 to use half height or half width resolutions, because EQ hides all resolutions with a dimension smaller than 512!
As long as your desktop resolution is 1280x1024 or better, you should have no problems simply hitting Alt+O, clicking the Display tab, clicking Video Modes, and finding the resolutions that are half your screen size. At 1280x1024 for example, the two would be 640x1024 and 1280x512. The list of resolutions is NOT sorted, so these actually appear after the very largest resolution, which will be something ridiculously large ;)
