Errmmm... if you can hit enter to start a tell, then it's highly unlikely to be WinEQ's fault that you cant hit enter to finish it. Every time you hit enter, backspace, or any other key, is exactly the same as all the others, to WinEQ. However, I will try to help you discover the problem...

Is this with a standard US english keyboard? What version of windows? Can you post SysInfo.txt so I can get more details about your system?

Okay. Your sysinfo looks normal, I'm currently patching EQ2 and will be testing this issue shortly. Thanks for reporting it.

In the meantime, I have also confirmed that the bug does NOT exist in Inner Space. If you want to download that, it provides the same default hotkeys and such that WinEQ 2 does.

All fixed, restart WinEQ 2 and let it patch up.

Have fun!
