Lately ive been getting a plethora of crashes. When zoning, when logging in, when logging out etc.
Taken from Win2k Pro application log:
Last 2 instances one with WinEQ2 and one with WinEQ1:
Program-popup: WinEQ 2.05 WinEQ2-EQ 2.05 - EverQuest (Hotkey: CTRL+ALT+1): eqgame.exe - Programfejl : Instruktionen ved "0x00431067" refererede hukommelse ved "0x00002cfc". Hukommelsen kunne ikke "read".
Program-popup: EverQuest: eqgame.exe - Programfejl : Instruktionen ved "0x77fcc83d" refererede hukommelse ved "0x00000010". Hukommelsen kunne ikke "written".
(Danish, so ill translate)
Program error: The instruction at ...... referred memory at ...... memory could not be read. (Mostly its written, but this example is read).
Im using MQ. Newest zip. Updated moveutils.
This error occurs both in WinEQ1 1.38 and WinEQ2. I actually tried out WinEQ2 to see if that fixed the problem, but it didnt.
With WinEQ1 I start up as follows:
EQplaynice, MQ, WinEQ ---> Then use WinEQ to start up instances.
With WinEQ2 I start up as follows:
WinEQ2, MQ ---> WinEQ2 to start up instances

Crash bug
Moderators: Lavish Software Team, Moderators
I'm familiar enough with the error messages that the Danish actually made sense
It's odd that you get this problem in both WinEQ and WinEQ2. I'll see if I can find the problem with this information. Try running it with the Inner Space alpha for me, and let me know if you have this problem with that as well

Well, i still crash without MQ2.
BUT, I got some new info. Seems there might a problem with my GFX card that can cause the issues.
I have a Microstar Giforce4 TI4600 w/128mb on it. The problem is, I cannot install a driver higher than Nvidia Reference Driver 53.03. Any higher and AGP Texture acceleration and Direct 3D gets botched. Ie. it doesnt activate.
I found the problem by reinstalling my comp from scratch, and when the problem still occurred I tried to mess about with it a bit.
So the question is: Can that be the reason why it crashes ? Me not being able to use drivers > 53.03? As far as i know those drivers are from the era of Dx8.0 or so.
