Lax, I've searched the forums and I know others have had this problem but they never responded after you asked about a firewall.

Connection to Lavish Software license server failed. The server may be inaccessible to you at this time, or the amount of network lag between you and the server is extraordinarily high.

I'm running a Linksys BEFSR41 Ver 2 router, nothing fancy. Anyways, it worked great on my WRT54G without any configuration and I'm wondering what I need to do to get WinEQ2 to work. I refuse to play EQ without your software...it seems so much slower without WinEQ 2.0

Lax, Plz disregard or delete...it's magically working now and I didn't change a thing. Odd.
