eqgame.exe error with 2.03

eqgame.exe error with 2.03

got home from work saw new version and downloaded it , rebooted system to install (because it would not install until i did). ran patcher program seperate for eq. got to server select screen clicked my server and in less than 5 seconds got pop up window stating that there was eqgame.exe error and shut it all down. tried repatching and using quick connect, same results.

My son and I are getting the same error when we try to start second instance of EQ. This is on seperate computers after the patch.

Can you get me any specific information about the error? Crash address perhaps?

if you can give me an idea where that might be i sure will post it.......i'm not very computer savy ( i know enough to be considered dangerous).

Shooting in the dark here since I can't get it to crash for me, but I patched again to hopefully fix the crash, but the mouse will probably "lock up" when zoning. Please let me know

just so you know, my problem occurred after selecting my server, i never got past that, never even made character select screen.

Well, I'll have to patch it again to solve the problem with the mouse locking up during zoning... but that did confirm what the crash is at least.
