Quick question about split screen..

Quick question about slit screen...as i was running 1024x768 and as I see others with the same problem, I bumped up my resolution to 1280x1027 and get 640x513 as my split res. Now how do I go about stacking two on top of each other one on the top half and one on the bottom half? Do I load both in then auto tile or do I activate auto tile first etc? Kind of lost as to how to go about this. Thanks

Tiling is completely separate from in-game resolutions. Just place both of the windows in 1024x512 (or 513 for you?) and they will take up one half of the screen
