Well, you can use CTRL+\ to toggle automatic tiling on and off, and if the previous preset was full screen, it should become full screen again. Try this:

1) Load each window, make them all full screen
2) Enable automatic tiling in each session (can also be set in each profile)
3) Press CTRL+\ (unless you changed the tiling hotkey) to toggle automatic tiling in the main program, which will take effect immediately on all windows that have automatic tiling on

Alt+Enter wouldn't have worked with WinEQ (or EQWindows for that matter).

When you hit the toggle button, the only time it will do anything is if the sessions are set to automatic tiled mode.

Post by kilelven » Fri Jun 17, 2005 4:22 pm

actually it did work...im not sure how if you say it didnt but i had two programs running two-boxin and i would have them both tiled lower left and lower right and when i wanted to play the character i chose i would hit alt-enter and it would come full screen and then when i would toggle to the other session it would show up pip and i would just work back and forth between full characters but anyway its all good all just adapt to what works...again i had autotiling selected and window preset was full screen emulated and i cant seem to get them to go full screen the autotiling when toggled doesnt give me any instant results unless i have something else configured wrong with profile and each profile has auto for tiled pref so....not sure how to get from two tiled screens side by side to one full screen to play in and bounce back and forth between them ;) sorry if im being a pain just trying to figure out how i can make it work

Hmm that may be right about not automatically bouncing back from auto tiling.

You may have to simply scale the windows down to a quarter-sized preset. You can make pretend tiles by making a preset with a scale of .5 and no border :) Then hit shift+alt+f to switch to full screen, and hit it again to rever to the previous preset

yah i did what you said and used presets and made preset keys plus a preset fullscreen key and now i can easily switch both full screen and toggle between them or both tiled and toggle or one full screen and pip and toggle between them with ease ;) thx for the help
