customizing screen size

can anyone provide a link or explanation on how to make my screens from 1/4 size to say half the screen. i two box and would like to have the top half of monitor one account and the bottom another. thank you

Turn off tiled mode, go into the game hit alt+o, click Display tab, click Video Modes. Two resolutions that WinEQ adds to that list are half the size of your screen -- one tall, one fat. Click one, click Accept.

i turned tile mode off on lower toolbar and went into preferences and disabled tile location but there is no change when selecting random video modes. Am not sure which two resolutions are added by WinEq if you can provide more information it would be appreciated

WinEQ 2 actually adds something like 17 video modes, and 2 of them are half the size of your screen. Just make sure that you're not setting the resolution from the "Options" window from before logging in -- changing it there will have no effect. IN the game, there should be a ton of video modes.

If your desktop resolution is 1280x1024 or larger, you will see two of them that are exactly half of your desktop resolution in one of the two dimensions. For example: 640x1024, and 1280x512. If your desktop is smaller than that, EQ hides these resolutions because they are too small, as is described on the WinEQ 2 features page for EQ1: http://www.lavishsoft.com/wineq2/eq1.php

I cant describe to you exactly what resolutions WinEQ 2 adds on your system because they are all dynamically generated based on your desktop resolution, of which I have no idea

If you post the contents of SysInfo.txt I can tell you exactly what should be in the list. Hopefully you can get it from the description aboe
