I'm having a problem while trying to run 2 instances of EQ2. My system is constantly doing a hard reboot. It seems to happen at random. If I have 2 characters out adventuring in the Commonlands for example, if they are both just standing there doing nothing everything is fine. Sometimes I can engage in several encounters without a problem. Other times it will reboot in less than 2 minutes after getting both instances going. Sometimes it will happen while fighting, sometimes while just running.
My system is a P4 2.8 GHz, 3 Gigs of RAM, and an X800XT video card.
I can get good performance on my system running both instances at balanced settings, yet I experience the hard reboot even if I have them both at extreme performance.
I am experiencing the hard reboot with WinEQ Lite, WinEQ Pro, and InnerSpace. At the time my system reboots the memory display still says I have about 2100 (65%) memory free and 400 texture memory available. One other thing of note is that everytime my system reboots I get a screech sound out of the speakers if that is of any use.
Here is my SYSINFO.

Hard reboot while running 2 instances of EQ2

Well, what is really happening is a BSOD (blue screen of death), but it may go by fast enough that you dont see it. I would suspect the blue screen to point out the video driver as the issue. My recommendation is to make sure you're using the very latest drivers from ATI, and if the problem still happens then try different drivers, such as beta drivers that might be found at guru3d.com or possibly "omega" drivers (search for omega here, should come up with links from people that use those)
Per your suggestion I've tried different drivers. I've tried the ATI Catalyst 5.2, 5.1, 4.12 (WHQL), 4.11 (WHQL) and the latest Omega drivers. I used Driver Cleaner Pro between every driver change. None of the drivers had any effect on the hard reboots. The longest session I managed was 2 minutes 12 seconds before a reboot. If there is a BSOD I am not seeing it regardless whether I am running full screen or in a smaller window.
As a side note, I can run a single instance of EQ2 essentially indefinetely. I played for about 7 hours straight last night with no problems what-so-ever. Infact when running 2 instances everything seems to be going smoothly as well until a sudden lockup and reboot.

Hmm
You can see the blue screen by changing the windows settings in System, Advanced, Startup and Recovery settings, and unchecking "Automatically restart". At the very least, that should indicate the driver filename and the specific error identifier. It might turn out to be related to something else entirely, but if it's ati2dvag.dll, it's definitely somehow related to the video card. It could be that a bios update or motherboard chipset update is required as well.
