doesn;t matter how much i record few seconds or few min when ever i stop wineq crashs .... maybe im doing something wrong =)

You're probably not doing anything wrong. Did you change any of the video capture settings, or are you using the defaults? It might also help to get the very latest Windows Media Player. I actually cant think of anything else that would make a difference for video offhand

I was having teh same problem theother ight afer teh patch the other day. I would do a test vid capture and the whole thing would just lock up to wher i had to reboot the system. Thenlast night whiel in WoS i managed to make a full 2 min film while i was grouped

Which reminds me is ther a limit as to teh length of the vid capture you make cause I actually wanna start using the vid capture to make films of my guilds Raids

The only limit to the size of the video is your hard drive space. If you have enough free space, you could make a video several hours long. I can run some more tests of the video capture system, but as it works every time consistently for me, it may be related somehow to system configuration.

Got the same problem here..

here are my settings..

Hotkey: Ctrl+Alt+L
Width: 640
Height: 480
Quality: 50
Rate: 60
Sound: OFF
Compression: OFF
Pre-shrink: OFF

Using Windows Media Player Version 10.00.00.3646
And Win XP Home Version 5.1 (build 2600.xpsp2.040919-1003 : Service Pack 1)

ohyeah running EQ in 1280x1024..

jcooler mentioned to me in private that the video capturing did not work correctly for him with his GeForce 4 MX, but worked with his ATI All-in-Wonder Pro. I'll run some tests using different cards and see if I can find the issue.
