Begging for added feature

With the website being down a few minutes ago, and the lack of being able to have my WinEQ 2 log in, I was wondering if there was a way that when the program logs into the server, it can download a key file for itself. Basically, so when/if there are problems logging in, it can check the key file next and see that I do have an active subscription. Could put in safety features that says that it will only last for like a week or something, and has the expire date built in.. Maybe?

The website has been inaccessible for a few hours, however we have a backup license server that is active when this happens. Unfortunately the data on the backup server is not always up-to-the-minute. Therefore, customers who have been using the software for a long time have no problems, but new subscribers or new users will have trouble with the backup server if the route to the main server is down.

The backup server is currently synchornized with the main server as of 4:30pm EST today.

I have been active for long time, way back with MQ2 and close to the first or so day you came here.

--> I was down while your website was inactive.

Yes, I know how to find the <correct_game>.exe but my kids and wife didn't ... I wasn't home, I work ... (They use the winEQ created desktop icon)

Things that I want and will pay for:
- A subscription key based on my IP/computer (similar to old MQ2) so only I can use it and i do not have to connect to your site
- The ability to NOT get updates when a new release is availible, mine ain't broke why should I update and possibly break mine ...
