Dual WoW was too laggy so started trying some things.
Athlon 64 3.2ghz, 1 gig ram, sata drive, Geforce 6800 normal
Biggest performance boost.....
You need 2 Directories of WoW (copy, paste, reload) and load them seperatley get totally in then load the 2nd one
Delete WTF/WDB folders the first time you set it up.
My Video Options
===========
Terrain Distance = Middle
Terrain Texture = Low
Enviroment Detail = Low
Texture Detail = Low
Antisotropic Filtering = Low
Level of Detail = Checkmarked
----------
Only things Checkmarked
Enable All Shader Effects
Death Effect
Vertex Animation Shaders
Smooth Shading
Cinematic Subtitles
Hardware Cursor
I get 90ish fps with single wow
I get 55ish fps with double wow.
Hopefully this helps someone else

I'm assuming you mean AMD Athlon 64 3200+, which would be a 2.2GHz cpu
The fastest Athlon 64 that AMD makes is a Athlon 64 4000+ and it is only 2.4GHz
AMD is the proof that GHz doesnt matter.

Why would you want 2 folders? Your drives and windows cannot cache that

amd 64 3400+ is 2.2 Ghz
So is 3200
3800 and 4000 are 2.4 GHz at core. AMD isn't about GHz. They are about trace sizes and raw power

When I only had it in one wow folder it was lagging.
