Window Resolution resets to default?

Just set up a new PC, Vista x64, same as my current PC, only for the life of me I can't figure out why, every time I re-launch The EQ1 Default Profile, it resets the WINEQ2 window size to 1280x1024? I'm using a Dell 22" screen with a native 1680x1050 resolution, and I want the EQ window to be 1440x900.

I've gone into Alt-O | Display and made sure EQ thinks it's in Full screen mode, and set the resolution to 1440x900 repeatedly, but each time I re-launch, back to 1280x1024 and I have to change resolutions once the character actually loads.

I tried changing the eqclient.ini setting to eqclient-new.ini to force it to create a new one, but the resolution change didn't save there either.

Any ideas?

Ok, with some research I've found the answer to this issue, and I will see about patching WinEQ 2 today to fix it. In the meantime, if you switch EQ to WINDOWED mode, and THEN pick your resolution, it will save correctly

Fixed. You can update WinEQ 2 by closing it down and restarting it.

Wow, I figured it was something I was doing wrong on a new machine.
