First time user - Vista issue

I've just purchased and installed this tool. I have set the permissions to the WinEQ2 folder to allow full control on that folder by my user account so the updater will run. Now when I launch WinEQ 2.0 it runs the loading screens, then does a User Account Control message for Lavishpatcher.exe

I click allow but everthing seems to disappear. It's not loaded on my taskbar, or able to be found in the task manager. What am I doing wrong.

I'm sorry if this has been addressed before, i did some searchs but didn't find anything on it.

I'm not sure it has been addressed before, because it shouldn't happen

Does it do the same thing each time you try it? It sounds like WinEQ couldn't launch the patcher (after downloading the files, to apply the patch) or the patcher couldn't launch WinEQ 2 (after applying the patch).

same thing it say i cannot successfully retrieve new file lavishpatcher.exe
