Global hotkeys not working in DAOC

I cannot for the life of me get these to work, tried everything. Switching sessions with a toggle works but not directly to a certain session with a global hotkey.

I want F1 to work for session 1, F2 for 2 and F3 for 3...tried other keys, made sure those keys were not mapped anymore in daoc...they just do nothing.

Also there appears to be a bug where when you run 2 or more sessions you cannot webbrowse at the same time. The issue is that one of the windows ALWAYS will pop to the forefront even if they are tiny sized, so you cannot interact with your desktop though its visible. I have made sure all the windows are NOT set to be always on top.

Works with only one session active but more than one and all you get is one of the windows. It appears that wherever you click on your desktop it activates a center screen click on one of the tiny windows, which brings it to the forefront.

Also for daoc there needs to be a way to make NON forefront activated sessions mute the sound, but play the sound when they are put to forefront.

I have been able to get the global hotkeys to work if I am not running a session, instead something like a web browser, but they will not work if I have a daoc session in the forefront.

I need to be able to select specific sessions when using 3 clients at once.

I am able to toggle thru them using a hotkey, but not select specific ones.
